Owens Warford Custom Homes is a luxury custom homebuilder in Lucas Texas. Owens Warford Custom Homes serves Lucas, Fairview along with surrounding areas of Collin County.
Founded by Anthony “Barrett” Owens and William “Kurt” Warford in 2016. Barrett and Kurt combine a unique level of expertise and experience in production and custom building as well as all aspects for real estate finance, development, marketing and construction in both the commercial and residential space. Our passion evolves around people and making a difference. Barrett and Kurt are cousins by marriage and focus on Christ and Family first.

Kurt Warford began his career in building with a national home builder. Kurt learned the trader from the ground up and built 100’s of homes throughout his career. Kurt quickly became a leader in the organizations he was a part of. Kurt and his wife Amber (whom also working on the Home Building Business as a Sales Counselor) own and operate Warford Irrigation and Landscape DBA Soak and Grow.

My name is Tyler Hurst, and I’m proud to call Merit, Texas my home. I’ve been married to my wonderful wife for four years, and we’re blessed with a two-year-old son and another child on the way. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and they inspire me to work hard and build a future that we can be proud of.
For the past seven years, I’ve worked at Owen’s Warford Custom Homes. I started my journey handling the job site clean-ups and dirt work and, through dedication and a commitment to learning, worked my way up to my current role as Project Manager. I take great pride in my craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the relationships I build with clients along the way.
One of my greatest professional goals is to continue growing within the company while helping more families turn their dream homes into reality. I believe in treating every client like a friend and ensuring that each home we build reflects quality, care, and integrity.
